Sea freight is usually the cheapest of all modes of transport – especially for long but also for short distances (Ireland, Finland, Spain, Egypt, Tunisia and others). The distance from/to individual European seaports is managed by regular combined connections (train/truck). We use 8 transhipment terminals in the Czech Republic and 3 terminals for groupage shipments (Prague, Brno, Ostrava).
In terms of the sea freight we can arrange the following types of cargo for you:
• Individual pieces of goods (LCL – Less than container load)
• Full container load (FCL – Full container load)
• Oversize load (Breakbulk)
• Dangerous goods (IMDG)
• Beverages using FLEXITANK (up to 24,000 litres)
We provide delivery of cargo from port to door, from door to port and from door to door (combination of maritime, railway and road junction). Maritime transport can also be combined with air (sea - air). This combination is faster than conventional naval transport and cheaper than air transport.
Regarding the maritime transport, we arrange everything necessary for transport and we handle necessary permits and customs procedures. We insure shipments according to your requirements, regardless of the destination.
Cross-trade (three party trade)
If you wish, we can arrange a cross-trade (three party trade) – shipment is delivered from your supplier directly to your customer, allowing you to save on shipping costs and customs procedures. Within the cross trade, we arrange the exchange of business documents (mediated sale on the way).
